What qualifications do I need to apply for the diploma course?
The course is set at Level 5, so ideally students should have 4 GCSEs and 1 ‘A’ Level, or a similar level of high-school education. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates are able to apply for full membership of the SMA (Association for Soft Tissue Therapists), Level 5 membership of the ISRM, and full membership of many other related professional associations.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. Student insurance can be obtained through the ISRM. You do not need to have this in place prior to starting the diploma course – we will explain what is required during the first teaching weekend. Once a student has graduated, student membership can be upgraded to that of a full practicing member.
What is CPD?
The purpose of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) is to reinforce the need for lifelong learning in order to stay current with changing techniques, procedures, processes, and established standards.
